Adrienne did not enjoy the ending of Torchwood this week
When I was working on losing weight, my primary exercise was bicycling. Every day or every other day, I would take a ride to and on the bike path from my house to Lake Zorinsky and come back. It was about a 16 mile ride and usually took me about an hour.
It was a good use of an hour, good exercise, and fun!

I have cycled 16 miles in one day for a second time, although by a different route altogether – not as pleasant a one, unfortunately, and with it being February, we were more pushed to get back before dark.
I’m thinking that it would be a good idea to cut down on the mileage and do this more regularly, as this would be too much each week with my levels of fitness, or lack thereof! :)

Oh my God, I think my ass has been welded to the saddle of my new bike – my legs have discovered levels of pain that they didn’t even realise existed and I seem to have forgotten how to walk! But damn, I feel good!! :) That was thoroughly enjoyable and I think my fitness must have gone up by about a squillion times what it was when I started! I cycled from Newcastle with my boyfriend all the way to Newburn and back, along Hadrian’s cycle route. My boyfriend mapped it out on the following site, and you can see the route saved here:
