Pattie was one of the very first people I subscribed to here on 43Things. I’ve definitely enjoyed getting to know her these past couple of years, and cheer her on as she made significant life changes. While hockey is not my favorite sport, I definitely admire her conviction to it and honestly do plan to hook up with her someday at an NHL arena or at least for a Nationals game with Chuq. Here are my birthday wishes for her for the coming year:

May she find the motivation to finish unpacking all her boxes, as well as get things cleaned and organized so that she doesn’t need to spend 10 minutes a day decluttering. May she increase her skating skill through practice, which in turn will help her lose those 20 pounds she wants to lose. And may she find the time to travel to places on her 43Places, or at least to a gym to work out three times a week. 5 years ago
