I’ll do the same route tomorrow with a walk break to see if that changes my time much.

I sent out for a run today. First time in weeks…. I ran 25 minutes, no walk breaks. So I think I ran slower than I do with walk breaks, but it was exciting to see that I could run that long without them. My time/km is higher than I though, but having not been out in nearly a month, I can hardly complain.

I think my goal time of under 70 minutes will absolutely be do-able. I’m already running a 7min/km. Maybe I can get it down to under an hour? That would be amazing :)

I finished! My time was 1:00:04, not incredibly fast I know, but for me it was good :) and it has gotten me back to a regular running schedule like I had hoped.

so I’ve been running…and it feels good :) did four miles the other day and had no problem, I just need to remember to STRETCH.

I’ve signed up for a 10K for Feb 26th, and I’m slightly worried because I’m out of shape! I’ve been running very sporadically, but I hope training for this 10K will get be back to running.

I finished in 50:49. This is about a minute off my PR. I really thought I had it, but oh well. I had a great time. It was, as I thought, really stinking cool to finish in the LA Coliseum. They also lit the Olympic torch, which was equally cool.
Joan Jett rocked. I don’t care if you like her music or not, you gotta pay that woman the respect she deserves.

Saturday night, 6 pm. I have my manditory nike shirt (you HAVE to wear this shirt or you can’t run. I find this offensive, but I’m going to do it anyway) and my timing chip. It’s going to be pretty stinking cool to run into the Los Angeles Colosseum for the finish.
i’m psyched and scared at the same time. Looking forward to it. trying to recapture the feeling I felt during and after my first 10k – the NY mini…
Worried b/c I haven’t run one in a while and overall have not been very active.
I CAN DO IT!
