...there was no drainage. Liquid began to accumulate at the bottom unnoticed by me, and all the little fellas died. It seemed they were happy before that though. So sad! I need to try again. I’ve already prepared an upgraded box and just need the worms now. 2 years ago

I made the bin today. I bought a rubbermaid tub, poked holes in it, tore up strips of newspaper, wet them, put them in the tub, stuck in some red wigglers that I bought at a pet store, and then fed the bin with a bunch of vegetable peelings that I’m now collecting in a plastic container in the fridge. I’ve even ordered additional worms from a worm farm that sells via the Internet. I’m going to update in about six months to let you know whether or not I’ve managed to maintain the worm bin successfully. 4 years ago
