write that novel about my grandma's life

i have always wanted to document the amazing life of my grandma sheehan…

she has raised 14 children, all born naturally and no twins, she always welcomed friends as if they were family, she loved each of her grandchildren equally (there are roughly 5o of us) and she cared for my grandad when he had a stroke.

she has never asked for thanks and gets upset when people make a fuss about her…

she is the most amazing person i have ever met. i have never heard her use foul language or say that she doesn’t like someone or something and she is always full of hugs and kisses…

My grandmother lived in the countryside. She lived in a little farm in Colombia, near Los Andes mountain system.

During my whole life i’ve heard the stories about her childhood and teenage years, wich were very influenced by the rising of the armed conflict in Colombia. She has told me all of these great tales about how she had to scape from military or guerrilla forces in order to survive.

Since I don’t live in Colombia I have to do a major research to be able to write this novel, I hope to be starting the first chapters soon.
