Diminish the books in my house by at least 1000 volumes

I don’t think Vox is going to be much help to me in getting these books unloaded… however, I did find a wonderful resource for donating books—

These people awe and amaze me – I will definitely give them any books I have they can use. Their official site is here.

Let’s see… I’ve given away 224 books (some of which have not yet been picked up, so call it 200) via Bookmooch and Livejournal, have released another 140 books via Bookcrossing. This gives me a total of 340, with an additional 145 books listed up for grabs on Librarything. I’m planning to list those books on my Vox blog, and xpost to the San Diego group there, as well. Any books of that group left by the end of October will be released via Bookcrossing.

So, there is a potential total of 485, which leaves me a minimum of 515 books to move, preferably by the end of 2007.
