a few months back. I joined ravelry you see, and I found their project adding feature to be really inspiring! I added loads of new projects on there and got stuck into the beret right away. I must get back into it.
I got a bit slowed cos I had to relearn continental style cos I had gotten purl all wrong. It was much easier once I found a continental purl tutorial on YouTube.
I find continental style to be much quicker than the method by which I was taught.

I’m 1/3 of the way through my first sweater (and have been for 6+ months) because I’m pathetic like that. I don’t even know if I even like the pattern I chose anymore. sigh I really enjoy knitting; it’s just hard to put aside the necessary time. Since I already spent the money on materials, it’s free entertainment.

I just got patterns from a friend for a matching set of wrist warmers, neck warmer, and beret that I’m (hopefully) going to start working on soon! I’ve never gotten around to doing anything but straight knit scarves, so I’m looking forward to mixing it up a bit.

... and a baby bib. I still haven’t sewn up my faerie. Seems I hate the finishing part. I like to knit things that don’t need to be made up afterwards.
I’m working on long gloves to match the pashmina I got as a birthday present. Then I really have to finish that faerie doll and start on the creatures for the baby’s mobile.
Ya know, I’m knitting a lot more so soon I might just call this goal done.
