go to cosmetology school

I have been considering going to beauty school for some time now. I cut, dye, and style my own hair. I’ve never been to a salon for my hair, and I never have had anyone else do my hair. I cut, dye, and style my friends’ hair for them, and I love it. I’m still in high school, but I graduate this February. I’m hoping to further my interest in hair, and would love to get my license to become a cosmetologist.

I am currently in school for cosmetology. I am enjoying it very much and will graduate in under a year

Since I finally got my GED, I called the school & went in to register the next day! I start in September & I’m soooo excited! Now all I need is the money for my supplies (& new hair haha) & I’m ready to roll!

I’m a full time student in art school, but every day I wish I had just gone to beauty school instead. I’m not sure how I can do this, or even if I can do this, but I’m going to try.

I contacted a couple schools in my area to set up appointments and get info, so I’m taking some steps toward it and I hope that I can do it :)

beauty, makeup, and hair are very important in my life. my mom and my grandma on my dad’s side are both hair stylists, and i really would like to be one too.

i should get this done since i’d do good at it and it would be great to finish it by the time i’m 18 and still be able to go to college afterwards, i think it’s a great idea =D

This goal/dream really just dawned on me recently. I really feel as though this is more creative than the path I’ve been following all these years. I’ve found myself in careers that were really restrictive and didn’t utilize my creativity. I’m so excited and hoping to enroll this Decemember.

I start cosmetology school this Monday and am so stoked!!!

Ive wanted to do this forever.
This is my Passion, and the one thing im good at.
I just need to get everything in order to do it.

i had a great job and i was lucky to be where i was. i was at a point in my life that i thought i could do better and i deserved better. i quit my job and decided that cosmetology school was for me. i learned a good bit and it was fun…but not the kind of job that i should be doing. i enjoyed it but quit after a couple months to ask for my job back. i guess it takes leaving to realize how good you had it. i guess you could say i needed that. now i appreciate my job and i don’t ever wonder if there is something else that i should be doing.
