Karoma is doing alright
I haven’t ever really messed with makeup before but I really should because I have acne and I would prefer not to walk around with bright red dots all over my face.

How I did it: *I bought Sephora brush set.*Used make up from Missha Cosmetics for starters.*Practiced on my sister, & I*Combine colorsIt took me time, I would sit infront of the mirror, & my make up remover to combine as much as colors i can, for different exotic looks. Read how I did it…

I didn’t wear makeup the day after my last post, but I did today :DDD so this goal is complete. I found out that the concealer should go on before the skinfinish powder or else it doesn’t blend as well. The concealer is hard to put on anyway. It’s too thick/solid to smear, so I put some on my pinky finger and blot it under my eyes.
I also added eyeliner to the list before mascara and blush after the skinfinish powder. I think today’s application was successful! Two people complimented me about “Something looks different…you look pretty today” etc.
Removing the makeup went smoothly enough…I had bought an oil remover at Mac and it got off everything except the eyeliner.
I still haven’t touched my makeup. In fact, it’s on the highest shelf in my closet way out of sight.
The good news is I found some little spongy things at CVS for $3. From what I remember, my mom uses them to put on liquid makeup. Tomorrow I hope to wear makeup outside for the first time. I’m pretty sure I apply everything in this order:
1. Liquid foundation
2. Mineralize skinfinish (powder stuff)
3. Concealer (under eyes)
4. Eye shadow
5. Mascara
I may have flipped numbers 2 and 3, but I’ll know by tomorrow.
EDIT: This post made me realize how incredibly lazy I am. I moved the makeup from my top shelf to a little bag in my top drawer. That way I’ll see it every morning.
I developed an allergy and I can no longer wear any eye makeup… This goal is not worth it.
I’ve wanted to do this for a few years, and this past week I finally bought my first set of makeup. I have very sensitive skin and horrible allergies (I’m even allergic to sunscreen), so I went with Mac cosmetics…
It’s so expensive!!! I only got the basics and it set my poor college-student savings back $160!
The worst part is that I still haven’t touched the makeup. I don’t know if it’s insecurity or what, but I don’t even know how to put on the liquid stuff that comes before the powdered stuff. The lady at the Mac store used an assortment of four brushes, but I only bought one brush in a futile effort to not blow my entire savings. My friend said she applies the liquid stuff with her hand, but I’m not so sure…

I must admit I am very lazy and clumsy at this. I must find the right makeup items and learn makeup techniques in a week. BTW I saw Tyra Banks video on youtube, she teaches how to do makeup in 5 minutes …amazing. I will post back on my progress.

being raised as a typical boy/man, I never learned the art of makeup. I have always secretly played with it, but never learned the fine points. being a secret crossdresser, I want to look my best and become the pretty woman on the outside that I know I am inside.
