three times a day – I can remember to take my iron pill – three times a day. Today is simple, make your actions match your priorities. Starbucks does not get me closer to better health, more energy, or my anemia being addressed.
I like the little red cup.
I will learn to live the little red pill.
1 down… 2 more to go.
The holiday season shouldn’t change your commitment to health. For the last 2 days I’ve been more dedicated to the routine of taking care of myself – even in the midst of the family soap opera we create all too often. Here’s to iron 3 x’s a day – any day, any season – with no valid reason to miss the boat.
to follow doctors orders….
**Thou should thank God that thy budget can sustain the cost of doctors, tests, medicine, and all that jazz, because so many people don’t have an option. I’m taking the medicine today because its already paid for, I have it to take, my doctor seems to really be committed to helping me find a solution – and there are many people in this world who would benefit from what I typically take for granted.
Here’s to the 2nd iron pill of the day.
Being severely anemic, the docs are trying to figure out why my iron stores are so low, and why I operate at an 8.2 instead of where the normal folks linger. In the meantime, I’m supposed to take iron 3x’s a day. I have not followed through on this much in the past 8 years, but for the first time – I’m doing it. I want to be a wonderful mother, wife, woman, friend, daughter….but I’ve got to be here, be awake, and be operating at my full potential to reach all of those goals. So – no more bad patient, no more I don’t like pills, no more excuses.
3 x’s a day – iron pills, and hope for good results.
