    • renters
    • cut back on food expenses. More channa masala. Get free food like beans from the pulse plant, and mom’s garden. Grow my own garden next year.
    • cut back on the lattes already! This is in progress actually. I have cut back. No more trips to the coffee shop every single day, or multiple times a day.
    • transfer to lower interest credit cards when available.
    • renogiate with the banks
    • cross my fingers. Actually, I just need to work for it.
    • consider getting a higher paying job. Be open to it. Or a part-time job from home.
    • sell my condo, sell my house, or sell my car.
    • pay bills on time.
    • plug the holes draining away my money.

This is the year. 7 months ago

Despite being unemployed for over half the year in 2008 and having to move three times to find work, I have managed to pay off six of my bills and significantly pay down the remaining six. This year alone (2009) I have been fortunate enough to pay off almost $20,000 of debt. At this rate, I will be completely debt free by AUGUST 2009!!!!

Getting closer to having no cc bills left!

And this one is at zero interest cause I have paid so many off.

(It’s funny, the less you need the pay the bills, the easier (like lower interest rates) they make it.)

    YEA.

And then there was one! 13 months ago

Well, I am donating a good deal of money to the No on 8 campaign in California (to keep marriage legal for EVERYONE)

And I’m down to ONE outstanding bill. (yippie!) Just one, and it’s down a big chunk!

And please support no on 8 in California!

And then there were two! 15 months ago

I’ve been working really long hours, picking up as many events as I can, and adding extra services.

I’ve just got two bills left! A big one, on zero interest, and a smaller one that I want to pay off really, really soon!

I’ve got a big smile, and it’s a sigh of relief. I was really near where I thought I’d never be able to dig out.

And now, it is as if, I can see the light coming in from the top of the hole.
