My dad would always emphasize on the importance of your appearance… how to wear your hair and hold your posture and dress neatly and properly. I stopped caring about these things a long time ago; I mean, I definitely keep up with my hygiene, but other than that, how out of place my hair is or how slouched I sit and stand or how old and wrinkled my clothes are literally doesn’t matter! I want people to see my true self on the inside, and that starts with my true self on the outside! If people are so shallow that they can’t accept me for my appearance long before they consider how good or interesting of a person I am, then I don’t think they’re exactly good people themselves… 3 years ago
