dandvThe law of getting real

Nobody wants to attract disease, yet disease comes.

Nobody wants to get into an accident, but accidents get “attracted” to you sometimes.

Most people dream about their soulmate, yet the search process is often painful, and you don’t attract them in your life right away.

Let’s face reality: we do not have complete control over the universe, and we have to accept the uncertainty. As long as we don’t have an exact model of how reality works, and I mean in the tiniest details (see the Butterfly effect), we will be subjected to chance.

What is chance? It’s our lack of complete knowledge about where everything is and at what speed it’s moving (see the Uncertainty principle). This is what the pseudo “quantum physicists” behind The Secret should teach about quantum mechanics (click the last link to see what I mean).

Nosce te ipsumThe real secret is

that when you spend more than you make you have debt. When you don’t manage what you have responsibly and continue to mismanage that your debt builds and increases based on your own continued mismanagement. Cause and Effect.

When you fail to plan ahead and take the initiative things dont get done. Cause and Effect.

When you keep making dumb decisions consequences appropriate to your decision will inevitably follow.

Can you tell that this book just offends me with its premise. I guess its easier to blame the universe for one’s stupid decisions than blame one’s self. 5 years ago
