improve my spelling

I am a very poor speller who would like tp improve my spelling. I a have a passion for writing, but because my spelling is very poor I tend not to write more often. Based on this fact I am kindly asking that I be trained on line or any other means to spell well. I am 61 years old , but I strongly feel that I can do better with my spelling.

I need to think of a strategy to improve my spelling as I don’t want to mis-spell words in front of students. How bad would that be?

The first thing I’m going to do is learn a few word elements(prefix, suffix and root words). And I also have a list of most commonly misspelled words. I’m going to learn every word on the list. That should be a good start.

I’M BAD AT SPELLING BECAUSE EVERY TIME I SPELL SOME THING IT DOESN’T MAKE ANY SENSE TO ME…

ive always wanted to do this but i never have ive always been a terrible speller, but a fantastic writer, If i do become a writer then ill need a VERY good editor. lol

When I was younger I was a naturally good speller and It came so easy to me but now days I find the red line going under my words all too much and words that I’ve been using for years don’t look right all of a sudden. I want to improve my spelling recording myself say a list of words then write them down and check them.
