Occupation, no matter what occupation, is still essentially trading time for money. I am transitioning from being a software/web developer to a business owner who manages web developers. No matter how exciting that occupation might seem (I believe me I still love it and can get caught up for hours trying to write code to solve a particular problem), after a few years there would be plenty other things you would rather be doing.

Always wanted to join a software development company…especially ones that make software that I use on a daily basis.

Yeah I have some of the most wanted Microsoft credentials (MCSD.NET, MCAD, etc), I’m very proficient in the language that I wanted to code in since I learned of its existence (C++), programs I’ve written have received worldwide recognition, I’ve taught dozens of people how to write code, my reputation as a software developer is recognized in four countries (Argentina, Italy, Chile, US) and yet… and yet at the end of the day there’s not much to say, not much to see.
