I’m living away from home. Two big issues: travel, and food.
Travel: with a bad back, it’s hard to travel by train because it’s difficult to carry all the weight. I’m trying to be organised about leaving things in work city, knowing what’s at home, so I can avoid being picked up by car to get all the stuff around. I need to be really organised about having work to fill the train time – takes hours, wastes time I could be at home, so being “at work” and getting stuff done is important.
At work “home”, it’s difficult to cook much and I end up eating packaged food. This is GROSS. It is so wasteful, so expensive in plastic resources. I need to think clearly about how to eat mostly raw food, bought from a supermarket, and stay healthy. It’s difficult to be motivated to do much when I’m only organising food for myself, anyway. This is a task I have to commit to. 22 months ago
