etvartCoffin!
Okay: there is a distinction between a coffin and a casket.
A casket is rectangular, while a coffin is hexagonal.
The casket is all “stately,” and dull (to me), while the coffin is “cartoonish” or “scary,” due to its likeness being used more often in horror movies and Halloween candy.
I’m not much for the number four… so I don’t want a casket.
I’m old-fashioned, or odd-fashioned, I guess. Gimme six! Never four!
I like that I’d save a LOT of money building one myself, too, so I’d really be doing my family a favor, as much as it would freak them out while I’m alive.
...
Here’s an idea, too:
When little kids break an arm, they get their friends and classmates to sign their cast…
...why not have friends and family sign your casket? Coffin? Other-shaped corpse-box?
That would be fun, wouldn’t it? 3 years ago
