I am trying to get started at shutterstock.com and it’s not as easy as I thought it might be. I’m sure a lot of people say the same thing. You need 10 photos to start with and they have to approve all the shots so you have to have 10 that they like, at least 4 mega pixels. My old 4 MP camera is actually a little less than 4 so I will have to upsize the images to make the cut.
I was hoping I could use some extra money from some images I took with this camera to upgrade, but I’m beginning to wonder if I’ll make it.

but the prices they sell at are super-cheap; commission is okay, but when it’s on such a small rate…. It seems like it’s the direction stock photo is trending, but should I be a part in it? Maybe I should try for a nicer upscale stock site to represent me before I go with the wholesalers.

it’s a nice model of business. Passive income- living the dream. If it’s not happening well for him or is too much work, or regardless, I should talk to an agency and see what they see. Time to get myself out there. GO!
