Not your every day, practical ones. A real, intellectual argument, where there are two well argued sides of the conversation. Not one where the other person doesn’t know what they are talking about, isn’t speaking logically (ie, reacting emotionally), or isn’t listening. I want to change someone’s mind. Or at the very least, I want to really get to them. I feel like I always lose those. Mostly because I’m inclined to believe I’m wrong first. Sometimes because I geniunely just don’t know enough about a topic. Sometimes I feel like I’m just not fast enough on my feet. I need to be better at this.

I can be weirdly assertive sometimes when I want to make a point. Not always, but sometimes. Most recently I won an argument about whether or not cow tipping is a common occurrence in rural areas (it’s not). Hey, I never said they were life-changing arguments….

hippie1427 Is going to be uber productive this year
I’m pretty good at making the logical argument, problem is, the world isn’t always logical. Why would bears give birth during winter. Isn’t winter hard enough as it is?

I am USELESS at arguing! I can’t fight my corner at all, and I wouldn’t know how to lose my temper in a sensible way if you paid me! I have got to be one of the most timid people I know – compared to me, Piglet needs anger management therapy :-)
