I want to learn as many as possible! When there is a boring moment, I’ll know what to do!

I semi-successfully learned a few in the past two months or so, but they all involved/were followed by the consumption of so much alcohol that I don’t even remember what they were called. Oops!

I guess I have this weird fantasy about being able to always be the life of the party, if you will. Everyone is sitting around being bored and here comes Mandy—the life of the party. And to me—being the life of the party is knowing how to play lots of different card games. You know all the rules and names of like 20 different card games and you can introduce people to how it is played and how fun it is. I would also like to know some card tricks, jokes, magic tricks and other party tricks I can do for friends and family. I think being good at starting conversations and getting good conversations going is another good party skill. Also bringing the right dish or gift for the host can add to your party quotient. Also, knowing how to make all sorts of drinks- “Anybody want a martini? Here, let me whip one up for you. Now taste that and tell me it’s not perfect.” ETC ETC.
