Finish knitting the gloves

Back in December, I finally dug up the original black glove and finished the second…and then started the felting process… my husband wears the gloves now even though they could use some more felting… I was thinking of embroidering something on the back of each hand… just not sure what yet…. maybe “Do” on the left hand and “Do Not” on the right hand heh… a little Yoda philosophy reminder would be funny.

So, that makes these 4 year gloves… or is it 5?

I think I’ll give up on this for a little while.

I managed to misplace the one glove I knitted for my husband a few years ago… so i’ve started a new pair for him… green wool to be slightly felted… one glove finished… so i’ve knitted a pair, just not a matching pair… but I can do it.. I can do it… I can do it…

I’ve managed to lose the pattern. It’s in my craft room somewhere, but can’t be located at this time. :(

I bought a pattern for some Finnish mittens last time I was in Finland. They had no English ones left so I bought one in Finnish despite only speaking a few words.

Looks like I’ll be asking my Finnish friend for a bit more help, and my husband for a few rapid translations!

Started this pair of gloves for Ray (now my husband) for christmas two years ago… Completed the knitting on the first glove right away… but never even strarted the second one until the next christmas… so if i can finish it (and felt them) by THIS christmas… it only took three years to make a pair of gloves groans
