Work in Law Enforcement.

Recently a College Graduate. Law enforcement is what I want to do with the rest of my life. Thought about Firefighting, but I’d rather be spit on and put someone in cuffs than run into a burning building.

I’ve worked in law enforcement in the past. While I enjoyed being a police officer, it did have its drawbacks. I loved being able to help others and knowing that citizens looked to you during times of need. However the odd hours and stressful working conditions made it difficult for my family, and I eventually chose to resign. I’d recommend law enforcement to anyone wanting to help the community, but just be sure to consider how it will affect those you love. It’s a great career, but for me it wasn’t worth the strain on my personal life. It takes a special person to serve in law enforcement, and I have nothing but respect for those who do.

I wanted to either join the Fire Department or the Police Department.

Since I have a fear of heights, and because I’d get greater joy out of it, I’ve chosen to pursue a career in Law Enforcement.

The neighborhood I’ve grown up in isn’t the worst around, but it’s not particularly good either. That’s another thing that pushed me to choose this career.
