I got a 100% on my final exam and an A in the class.
Word.
How I did it: I sit and read the book and stop and go back and read things again when they don't make sense. If that's not enough I email someone or ask a question online. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I never gave up! I looked at problems from a more positive perspective, and took things one step at a time. Also, I did not procrastinate when I did not understand something. I asked for help right away rather than going crazy trying to figure it out on my own. Read how I did it…

I got an 87% on my second Calculus test. My professor makes a bar graph on the board and puts everyone’s grade (without their name) on it, so everyone can see where they stand against the rest of the class.
I have the 2nd highest grade in the class for exam I and II.
Next time: Number 1

95% on my first Calculus exam.
Rock on.
I have taken the time to do more math in my head rather than using a calculator.
sogeo618 is in love... head over feet
I worked extremely hard last semester, going in for help as much as possible, doing all the homework, and consistently had a B-. Then three weeks before finals, I started getting discouraged, and stopped going in for help. I didn’t even study for the final! I figured I could get through it. I ended up getting an F and dropping down to a C in the class. I was really upset and realized that with Calc, there are no shortcuts or easy ways out, you have to work hard at it the whole time, and can’t get lazy at the last minute. I hope to do better this semester, so I’m prepared for the AP test in May. :)

I took my final exam today and scored a 100%!
So…
Test 1: 90%
Test 2: 90%
Test 3: 100%
Homework credit: +20 points
90+90+100+20=300
300/3=100
I GOT A 100% IN PRE-CALCULUS, AN A+! Something I haven’t done in a Math class since probably middle school.
I’m getting better at Math! Next semester: Calculus!
wooleyduck is planning for a lot of change in 2009.
Kind of hard to quantify this but I’m noticing I can do simple math faster in my head and I actually passed my algebra class this semester so I’m marking this as done.

I got a 90% on my second Math test…woohoo! An A average so far!

My first test of the semester I got a 90%, I have my second test this Thursday and I’m anticipating another A.
rovingjack is putting too much on his plate.
there is more that I will be doing but already I’ve noticed some improvement in my ability to multiply numbers in my head. I just have a better understanding of it and it allows me to work with patterns to figure it out faster. I suspect I’ll get even better as I get more practice with my new way of thinking about it.
I’ve also got some higher level material to get to.

“I would like help creating a formula to do the following: When applied to a non-uniformly distributed set of numbers between 1 and 9999 it will give six results which will each occur 1/6th of the time.”
