learn to make clothes

i want to do this, i’m always coming up with ideas of clothes i would like because i can never find whats really my style and fits me at the mall. I don’t know how to start with it though. I can sew but like minor experience.How should i get started?

I would love to make my own design of clothes, not just for my own pleasure and accomplishing feelings but with some good luck, also a successful business.

I don’t want to feel awkward anymore because someone has the same clothes as me. I could look through a store all day and not get a single item because it doesn’t fit my style. I am usually bored so making clothes sound much fun. I can have my dream shirt in no time!

As i’ve been visiting home this weekend i had a play about on my mums sewing machine and made myself a little bag. It’ll have to wait till the summer before i get more time on it but slowly i’ll get there!

Do you have a sewing machine? is there a %off table at your fabric store?

Pants, gowns, set in sleeves; all of the basics that you need to begin, and they are all based on things you already own.
Choose your best fitting/ most comfortable shirt (not super-stretchy though) lay it on this fabric this way cut it that way and sew together. that easy. I will see if I can do some sketches.

I’m me and that’s who I am

sometimes i go out and see something but have no money to but it but love it or get an idea but there is nothing like it or go to a fabric shop and want the fabric but have nothing to make it into. This is why i need to learn!
