I so need to get out opf this Rotten state. Gaineville will kill me for sure. LBI, NJ is where I need to be. If i hear “Go Gators” one more time I’ll go mental!
But this plan will take time..short of funds I’m stuck for now. Not a good look.
Getting a decent job in the artist fields is impossible here. The college kids will undercut you every time.
I will make it back to Jersey before I die..I hope.

I hate this place so much. it is not a good town for a graphic designer or an artist. I have to leave soon or I’ll lose my mind!

I miss the water, the breeze, the winter, and my family and friends…

I can’t wait until I leave. It’s not bad, but Florida just isn’t for me. I grew up in Massachusetts. I miss being up there, my friends, the snow, the landscape that’s not just flat, leaves changing color in the fall, plants blooming in the spring.

Jenn Niffer is kinda surprised that every site has its own status bar thing...
I’d love to leave the state, but there’re three things stopping me. One, money. I have to wait ‘till after college to do it, because the state of Florida pays my tuition (although somehow, I get the feeling I’ll be paying it myself senior year). Second, I love Florida. I don’t love the tourism, and I don’t love the politics here, but I do love the state. We have tons of great scenery, from springs to swamps to..uhh, shores, there we go. The weather is wonderful (well, okay, not really, but still). Third…me. Ah well, I’ll be leaving for new year’s at least, and that’s a start.

Unfortunately all of my college pals have all left the South and moved to NY, so I’m kinda stranded here until my husband gets out of the military. On the bright side, we are experiencing some more mild weather which makes everything a lot more tolerable. At least we can go outside without risking heat strok! Good luck to ya’ll!
