become a nomad

im gettin up adn gettin out like outkast..im selling my car, buying another one and leaving this old town. TEXAS here i come. watch out.

the more i think about it the more i like the idea. i was thinking and…every single part of us including our minds have evolved because of nomadic lifestyles, yet we choose to “settle down” and stay in one place, despite the endless beauty to be found throughout not just the country, but the world…and we are finally at the point in mankinds existence where we can literally travel anywhere on earth within a day or two. so i think its a good idea. modern nomad. move from city to city. you dont need much money to get by, just a side job or two to pay for rent and food

i want to live a nomadic lifestyle just me my bike (wonce i get it), and my next destination…ie, acapulco, san diego, LA, portland, seattle, hawaii, costa rica, colorado, wherever…this will be starting next summer. a modern nomad. I’m so tired with this what do you want to be and where do you want to live an do. i dont fuckin know. i want to do everything and anything. so i am. i dont need some big fancy job to pay for an apartment in each of those places.

It sounds so idyllic… free from stress, pretence and egos. It is tempting. Hmm… at the moment I’m desperately clinging onto the opinions of my family and friends as if they matter the world to me, and their general consensus seems to be that it’s not a good idea! However, I can try to live a nomadic lifestyle. E.g. Not obsessing over trivialities and focus on the important things. Is this a good idea?
