buy as much as possible secondhand

I buy lots of secondhand items..my lawnmower ($50) after the first one broke (it came with the house), our car (2000 Sunfire), virtually all my music (thrift stores are our friend!) etc etc.

I’m no treehugger but it is also a way to be more “green” without curtailing your lifestyle into the stone age.

and whenever I think of something I need, I first think of how to get it secondhand. I’ve worked on this for a number of months and feel changed in this department so I am going to check it off!!

Partly because the pants weren’t AWESOME, and partly because of my commitment to this goal. While I still need pants, I can still look for good ones at the thrift store.

at the thrift store. I still need a pair of black pants and black shoes. I’m unsure about buying used shoes because they mold to your own feet so quickly . . . meaning they would be molded to someone else’s feet.
