help my boyfriend find out who his father is

we got access to his files, he has been under court guidance from the day he was born. It was not fun, very confronting, but a good thing to finally have some answers, even though we do not really like them.
He is such an unbelievably strong person, to have been able to overcome all that and become the sweet lover/dad/friend he is now.

We met with different social workers who knew him at the homes where he lived as a kid. Nobody knows anything about a dad. One of the ladies sent us a bunch of pictures though from when he was little, that was huge, because he only had a couple.

An organisation that helps adopted kids find their biological parents, is going to help him as well now. No promises for a happy ending, I guess there never are, but one step closer anyways…

I got a phonecall earlier this week (someone contacted by someone I contacted some weeks ago) and was able to arrange an appointment for my boyfriend to get a closer look into some files. We have got a name: 95% certain he is my boyfriends dad. And now…?

I have made some phonecalls to official inst that have shed some light on his past, and got promised they would dive into their archives. One of them already called back, without too much new info, but this means that all the data are (if they haven’t destroyed their archive, of course)with the one where they won’t pick up the phone.
