My goal is to have the time and money to pick up and help those in need. Whether because of a disaster like Katrina or just a friend who needs a helping hand and happens to live across the country.

2 Years ago I held a troop drive for our soldiers in Iraq. We ended up sending over 20 packages to soldiers in Iraq. It was a great feeling. I even got the kids involved in packaging the donations.

When this is your goal you naturally attract people to you…so dont worry about that as a goal

To help homeless kids in the area. I am trying to decide if I should take my daughter with or not so that she can see how lucky she is to have a home, and that not all kids have what she does. I think that if she does go with it will help her to grow to be a stronger person.

Is that you never know who is actually “needy” since there are so many people who lie and say thay are but aren’t to get free handouts.
