All 3 of my wisdoms are out, as of a few weeks ago, and healing nicely. So I scheduled my 3 fillings at the end of next month. Then I’ll do a little whitening and call this done. 2 months ago

I might need some orthodontia and I will get to that sooner than later but my immediate dental work is complete. 7 months ago
Finally. I got half my mouth done a few years back. I didn’t like that dentist, so I didn’t finish. It took me a long time to get to the other half. 7 months ago
I got my teeth cleaned last week and made appointments for a deep cleaning. I am going to need more work but this is the first step.
She told me that I have amalgam underneath a couple of composite fillings that I supposedly had replaced. I am not happy about this. I had a bad feeling about the guy who did the work and never went back to him after his first session. Another in long line of bad experiences with dentistry and orthodontia. However, I will forge ahead.
Now, I need to find an orthodontist because my underbite returned after being corrected with treatment over 40 years ago. 13 months ago
I finally found a new dentist and she is a very lovely lady ~ so kind. She actually took the time to talk to me about any issues or concerns I had. She let me know her true opinions & couldn’t believe that I had been taken advantage of by my previous dentist. I went in for a second opinion about my root canal crowns(and because I’ve been having tremendous jaw pain the past two days). She said (and I completely agree with her based on the X-rays that she took) that the work they did on my crowns was basically shoddy work (not her exact words – those are my words). I have paid my previous dentist almost $5,000 dollars in dental work and do not feel I have gotten my money’s worth. They are still holding a crown that has not been placed on, mind you they originally started on this of Feb 2011 and I still don’t have it. They have just been really rude and unhelpful with getting this whole situation resolved. They have been trying to place the blame on me for something (poor workmanship/them taking too long to fix the problem). It’s just ludicrous for them to even try to place any blame on me. I have been very lenient, patient, and nice to them while they’ve made so many mistakes. My new dentist recommends I ask for money back and she will fix my new crowns the proper way. If they do not want to give me my money back then I will be talking to a lawyer very soon. I never dreamed that this could be such a stressful situation! 17 months ago
I went to have the last of my dental work done a few months ago. There has been an “issue” with my last root canal. They did the root canal and everything but the crown they cemented on keeps coming loose. It has been an annoying problem the past few months and I’m in the process of waiting for a new crown because it needed to be refitted again. The temp crown they put on two weeks ago also keeps falling off (fell off twice since the 3rd) but I’m just hoping that is because the cement isn’t as strong. I’m hoping after my next dentist appointment that this problem will finally be resolved. I will also be looking into getting a new dentist. 19 months ago
I’m going to the dentist! I am so excited as this will hopefully be the last time that I will need to go back for major work. My dental plan expires soon so it is crucial that I get everything finished next week! 20 months ago
I have made an appointment to see my dentist in a couple weeks. Going to get that last root canal finally and also go for a cleaning. After this is finished I will finally be able to mark this goal DONE! 21 months ago
How I did it: I fractured a tooth last year and had to get a gold crown to "save" the tooth. I went to the dental school attached to my college. It was much cheaper then if I went to a full time dentist. It also took a lot longer. Still, my dentist was great and listened to me when I told her about my phobia of needles. So, now I've got a gold tooth and both of my cavities filled. So woo. Read how I did it… 1 year ago
I went for my final appointment last Thursday and had her do all the remaining dental work. So its all done now. I did write a big ol blog post about the psychology behind my realization of my bad dental hygiene. http://bit.ly/kfq4MN
Well be that as it may, its all done now and I just have to keep my damn teeth clean. 1 year ago
Oh the joy…but this cavity has got to be filled before it gets worse. 2 years ago
