Learn about other countries and cultures

I took all of my savings to pay for a six week language study excursion in Tokyo. It was worth it.

I was looking through the sales table at Chapters in downtown Ottawa a few weeks ago and I saw a book on Sweden, “A Quick Guide to Customs & Etiquette”, I was like: “that looks good”. I flipped through it and it looked like a good book so I bought it. I got it at 40% off, it was 8$ something compared to 14$. It’s a small book though, which you can easily put in your bag for when you travel, for quick reference.

Now I’ll be going at Chapters or used books stores too look for more books like that about other countries and cultures.
