Start working on a Halloween Costume now so I will have one by the 31st of Oct

though not on purpose for once as I didn’t celebrate Halloween this year due to other circumstances.

So, my fiance and I are going to a halloween party in Texas. I haven’t been down there since I moved nearly two years ago, so I’m very excited. Two of my girlfriends down there have roped me into going as Hugh Heffner’s three girlfriends with them. lol. This ought to be interesting.

I think I have decided to be a cat. Just a headband with ears stuck on and some whiskers painted on my face. Enough that I have participated but not so much that I am uncomfortable all day.

Maybe if I feel wildly excited about this closer to the date I’ll do something more elaborate.

is having a costume contest on Halloween and I really want to participate. The hard thing is I will still have to be able to function in the lab (i.e. not be dragging a flowy costume through the bacteria cultures and getting it caught in the instruments) and still follow universal percautions like wearing gloves and such.

I’m not sure what to be yet. I was thinking maybe a gypsy. I did that for one Halloween a long time ago and it was easy and came out really nice. Just a long skirt, fluffy blouse and lots of makeup and jewelry.

that I REALLY want to do for once. I have had the worst luck on Halloween the last few years! I also need to find a costume party.
