Would be amazing :D

Control is something we 'learn' from our parents 4 years ago

And is one of many things from them that I’d like to unlearn. Acute drunkenness seems an unsatisfactory method; it’s temporary, unreliable, and not very healthy. And I’m told I snore too loudly when drunk.

But I wonder whether or not loss of control can be self-willed. I suppose that if you know which ‘buttons’ to press on yourself, you can work yourself up to a frenzy or down to a stupor, from which your body will recover with time. Chemical buzzes, especially from our bodies’ own chemicals, are subject to feedback loops that re-establish normal levels. These aren’t the sorts of control loss that I’m after. I want something sustainable, a permanent altered state. And one that doesn’t require the personality bypass operations offered by NLP-types of therapy.

Have any of you had any luck with this goal?

Perhaps someday i can just let it all go.
Perhaps someday i wouldn’t care about everything that goes one around me.
Perhaps someday i can relax and not worry
