Trying to keep up to date with my emails each day (I get around 40-50 per day). I am starting to unsubscribe from things that I’m not reading or that aren’t relevant to me at the moment.
Then I’m trying to do a few extras each day to start getting that figure down. Would like to get it down to nothing eventually but unlike hubby who deletes anything more than a few days old, I have significant or meaningful things I’d like to keep and other things that still need actioning.

I sat in front of my computer for about half an hour at a time for about three days doing nothing but selecting “mark all” and “delete”. I used to have all my messages in the one folder, but I’ve started a new one for important stuff I want to keep and I just delete everything else.
There’s something really satisfying about having an uncluttered inbox that I just can’t put my finger on. =]

I managed to clean all my different email accounts and I don’t pile up the new unread messages to unbelievable numbers. I am on top of this now.
Now, I will need to CLEAN and get rid of eamils that are just laying passively there with no use at all. Then, I will be able to mark this goal as DONE. can’t wait to mark another goal and make space for another :)

Got my work inbox down to 300 items. The only problem is I’ll be on vacation for a week and it’s just going to fill up again! I just have to keep at this goal to get it down to a manageable level and keep it that way.

...Yet I keep my inboxes to the full. Time to get some cleaning going on and apply the Best Email Practices on my own inbox!

At last I finished goin through all my 1000 new messages. Now all I have left is delete those read emails I no longer need before I can tick this goal done _
