scatter my mothers ashes

We’ve decided as a family that this weekend would be most appropriate of days to scatter her ashes on our family’s home acres. So Sunday September 13th, a day after she was pronounced deceased four years ago, we will scatter her on the land she loved most in this world; her home.

I can’t believe I havn’t done this yet.

Maybe I’m not emotionally ready to deal with it, or maybe it’s a small way of holding on in some small way. I havn’t found the perfect location but I think I have some idea.
I know that I’ll be all by myself when I do end up doing this though.

It’s going to be one of the hardest days of my life, but at the same time.. I know I’ll be letting a lot go.
