have a girls night out

It was less a “night out” and more an entire day. We boarded the bus at 6:15 am and didn’t return until just after 11 pm. We laughed, ate food, won some cash, shopped, talked girl talk over $12 drinks and then went home. It was a lot of fun and I am really glad I went!

I set up a ladies night for tomorrow night. How fun!

at my house. We each made our favorite snack food. I made strawberry daiquiri’s and had plenty of wine on hand. We were supposed to watch a chick flick, but we talked so much nobody missed the movie!! It was so relaxing. For a night out with the girls, we all love to go to Olive Garden for the soup, salad, and bread sticks!

i do this more now… it is undescribable. Definitly worth my time and energy to dress up.

A week or so ago myself and a schoolfriend of mine (we’ve known each other all our 22 years) went out. I am probably the worlds biggest light weight when it comes to drinking alcohol, my friend on the other hand can drink anyone under the table… and welcomes any challenge. By the end of the night we were both fairly tipsy… I, knowing my limits stopped drinking wine and moved onto water a few hours before my friend. When we got home she was so ill… physically. I won’t go into too much detail… yuk, all I am going to say is that I had to call out a plumber to look and unblock our bathroom sink… (poor guy) She’ll never EVER live that night down… I’ll make sure of it!

I can’t remember the last time I had a good old girls night out! I think the last time was my best friend’s hen night that I organized in August of 2004! Had an absolute blast! But before that was probably before I was pregnant with my first daughter back in 2002!! Oh my word! Has it REALLY been that long???!!! Enough is enough… I need to check this one off soon!
