I have tons of beads. Recently, my Granddad let me take some stones from his dad’s collection (he was a rock & shell dealer in Dallas). Yet I’ve only made about 6-7 things. I’ve only kept one thing for myself..the rest went to friends and family…mostly my mom. I need to stop buying things to make jewelry and start making jewelry. I also want to start taking pictures of things when I make them.

Okay, my green and gold necklace is being a pain, and I’ve scrapped a few projects for others, so here’s a new list, along with recent completed stuff to apply against that list—a pearl necklace, a crystal and pearl necklace, a garnet and pearl necklace, matching earrings for all three, 2 pairs of earrings to match stuff I already have, a tannish gold chunky necklace, a yellow necklace, 2 sea-themed necklaces (one already done).
She makes linen garments and sells them;
she delivers girdles to the merchant.
I made a green/pink pendant, a green strung necklace and a pair of earrings today.
I don’t think that making a pendant this afternoon would satisfy this goal for me, but I’m not sure where to cap it. Since I’m not a professional (that is, I don’t regularly sell my stuff) and it’s for my own use, I guess that finishing the projects I’ve already thought up would constitute a good finishing line.
So that would mean a gold and pearl pendant, two lime green strung necklaces, about 5 pairs of earrings, a garnet choker, and a green and gold necklace. For now.
