bake blueberry tartlets

Well, I failed my challenge; I never found tartlet molds; the blueberries went bad. Anyway, I’m giving up for now, but I’ll be back.

The only thing that is really disappointing is that the blueberries were homegrown given by a friend. Very shameful of my part. I will have to make up this in a better way…

I started doing the curd—to be done in advance—, but didn’t calculate the chemical reaction of the acidity of the lime and the heavy pan—which the recipe called for. So the curd turned out with a not-so-attractive greenish hue, but it still tastes good! We’ll see how it tastes like with the rest of the recipe…

Before the blueberries go bad, I’ll bake them into tartlets from this recipe that looks delicious. I can almost smell them…
