eat ice cream

3. Baskin Robbins Black Walnut
4. Ben & Jerry’s Cherry Garcia
5. Dreyer’s Rocky Road

Though I’m a health food nut, ice cream and cheesecake are my weaknesses for food.

When it’s this hot, there’s just no excuse! I went to Trader Joe’s and bought vanilla and chocolate, and just had a bowl.

yum.

But I haven’t had it for at least a week. I buy several gallons at a time, but some people around here eat gobs of it at once, so when I actually want to eat ice cream myself, there’s no ice cream. And unlike high quality dark chocolate, I can’t hide ice cream in my scarf drawer.

I had some ice cream before we saw Ratatouille, because we went to Cold Stone. Before that? I can’t think of the last time I had ice cream at home :-(

This goal was actually pretty tough for me, given the fact that I have a food alergy to milk. I honestly can’t recall the last time I had ice cream – I believe it’s been at least 7 years.

Last week, I tried the tofu kind of ice cream to start with, which simply doesn’t taste right. Then I tried the “Turtle Mountain” brand of lactose-free, organic vanilla ice cream, which tastes spectacular. However, the calorie and sugar content is ridiculous, so I may just stick to sorbet.

sometimes ice cream is very good. sometimes it’s less fantastic. but it’s cool anyway.

Eating ice cream is a dream. There are sooooo many flavors to choose froom that it can be hard to decide which to have but once you decide it’s Great!
