Success is great  — 2 weeks ago

Worth doing!

I quit August/September 2006, and slipped a few times in 2007 [went out partying and couldn’t help myself.]

Aside from that little oopsie, I’ve been smoke free, and thankful!

good luck to you all!

Day 6  — 1 month ago

I’ve got an inhalator, some days i haven’t used it. I hope i manage to stay stopped. It’s a pity i like smoking.

Done & Done  — 2 months ago

Worth doing!

I’ve been smoke free for 2 months and I’ve noticed my sense of smell has returned. I also have less headaches and no chest pains. I’d cut down to 1 a day for almost 3 months & then just cut myself off.

Feels good knowing that I did something good for myself. Sure, there are days that I want one…but this too shall pass.

Smoking  — 3 months ago

The famous quote goes, “I keep thinking of giving up smoking but when ever I think I need a cigarette”

Another one, “Giving up cigarettes is among the easiest things I have done, already done it about a thousand times” ...

Well I just want to give it up once :( it is so hard to do…

Worth doing!

I have been to the hypnotherapist twice and have one more session left to go. I have not touched a cigarette and I don’t think I ever will again. I am not feeling great yet but I just cannot imagine smoking at all its weird. It has been pretty tough as for some reason you are also required not to drink coffee, tea and have no cafeine products including chocolate, no alcohol also. I think I have actually found the coffee difficult and have bought myself a jar of decaf which seems to do the job. I have started to feel better in the last couple of days as this has been emotional, stressful and difficult. Enough reason never to go back there again.

I'm stronger than this habit  — 4 months ago

Worth doing!

I’m stronger than this habit! The only thing I use it for is stress and socializing, which is just dumb! I’m smarter and stronger than that so I’m done with it.

I have smoked for 30 years and I want to kick the nasty habit. I am in the process of doing it but just have to keep it up
