....there’s no point in saying otherwise.
But dropping dead early I’m not so keen.
I really do think cutting back first for me is the right way – I’ve seen all the arguments both ways but I know me best.
Part of me – in fact mose of me – struggles to believe I can even cut back. If I can do that and improve my confidence I can take it further.
5 a day is the aim – but when to start?

I think in all honesty that my smoking is the only thing keeping me from at least attempting a lot of my goals =/ So I really want to try giving it up. My biggest problem, in my opinion, is that i forget I want to quit ROFL how crazy is that?? Maybe this site will help with that.

Okay so i have started by mentally preparing myself, i really am not that bad with my smoking, i used to smoke alot but cut down by 1/2 when i was suffering with an anxiety disorder. But slowly but surley i find myself creeping back up. The problem now is, is that i can only smoke when i drink so my drinking has increased so i can smoke. Silly considering i have health anxiety aswell.
SO! I brought the book that i have been intending to buy for months about giving up smoking and i really beleive it will work – i think i may read it on Sunday so i can live it up for the rest of this week.

After smoking about a pack a week since I was seventeen (I’m 23 now) I can barely hold my breath for 30 seconds these days. It really interfers with my love of swimming.

3 years ago I put this on my list. Today I am still a fricking chimney. But this past week my son was born. Mindset has changed. Enough with the excuses. Enough with the procrastination. Enough with the typical BS. This is the time. I have to do it. I have to prove to everyone else I can…but more importantly I have to prove it to myself. Wish me luck!
