see the Cleveland Indians win a World Series

2008 is looks promising! Solid line-up and 2007 built-up some valuable experience.

Well, the Indians didn’t make it to the World Series in 2007 but they did go 7 games before bowing out to the Red Sox. The good news is that the Indians have their key players under contract through 2008 so we are hoping for another solid year in 2008. Go Tribe!

We beat the Freakin Yankees, now we have Boston.. i would like to think if we can beat Boston we can beat whoever we would play from the NL in the World Series.

The Indians have won the Central Division! Way to go, Tribe! Is 2007 the year?

I just watched the Indians beat the Blue Jays to sweep the series. So, after 25 games, the Tribe is 17-8 and in first place in the tough American League Central. Can the Tribe keep this up for the entire season and win the Central?

I’m not ashamed to admit that I cried for 3 days after Game 7 of the 1997 World Series.

On that fatefull evenening:
At some point after Tony Fernandez’s 2-run single…
As the 6-pack of MGD I was consuming dwindled down…
After I told my indifferent college roommates that IF the Indians won I would run naked down Wisconsin Avenue into downtown Milwaukee…
As the 9th Inning drew anxiously closer and closer…
...I let my guard down and allowed myself to believe the Tribe was actually going to win the world series.

The profound grief, despair, and guilt has lasted for 9 years and counting.

umm we aren’t going in the right direction.. trading Belliard, Wickman and broussard for basically nothing? Choo isn’t doing bad.. but the rest of them are bums. Not to mention are now closer, Carmona is a friggen joke!

I am pretty much done watching them this year.. they don’t want to spend money.. even though they are getting oooooodles of it from Sportstime Ohio!
