Lisa is okay.
I had a good week. I didn’t buy anything that wasn’t on my shopping list. My new system is to only go to Walmart once a week to buy groceries and things for the house. I work on my list all week and then look it over and decide what I don’t really need before I go. Then I only bring cash.
Lisa is okay.
Yesterday I didn’t spend a dime. My cheapo boyfriend sprang for dinner and a movie, even popcorn. It was Hellboy, which I didn’t want to see at all and was bored to death, but still. Today my Grandma bought me and Ryan dinner at Applebees. I did spend 10 bucks on a bottle of wine, but that’s good for ME.
Trying to keep your money in your pocket. But we are doing it! Its great.
I buy things I don’t even need. I want them at the time, but sometimes when I buy things I get it home and never use it or don’t even like it anymore! I am now trying a strictly “love” policy. unless I love it, or of course need it, I will try not to buy it.
EVERY TIME i go to atlanta. i never fail to blow at least $100. thats what happens when you drink. or when i drink at least. i’ll just practically give money to people. it sucks.
Another very expensive present. It must be psychological.:/
Making the first payment for the flat next week, living the rest of the month on travel checks and foreign currency.
1) to join the library for DVDs and books (this Friday or this Saturday);
2) check this month is its worth paying EUR 50 gym fee (I can play squash for free);
3) stay away from amazon.de (co.uk and fr as well);
4) buy only perfect clothes that I wear and wear and wear (instead of wearing them once, not liking them, filling the warderobe and ultimately throwing them out);
5) find a place to sell books I ll never read again;
6) buy cheapest plane tickets and use them!
7)exchange my mp3 player before the year is over;
8) spend less on presents.
i make enough money that i don’t have to worry about how much i spend. and i don’t spend extravagantly or on many frivilous things, but i could budget better and perhaps be more patient about what i want to buy and pay more attention on what i need to buy.
