clean and organize the main house kitchen

I am so happy to mark this off my list, I just can’t believe how long it has taken me! I would get close and then mess it up again. It has also been ground zero for much of my packing. Ahhhhh… it is so nice to sit in there now and have coffee. It is clean and pretty and has fresh flowers and plants. This is so much better!

I worked steadily all day today and didn’t get to mark one thing off my list. I still have some work to do on the kitchen…really just one stupid closet. But it is REALLY bad and will take at least a couple of hours. Maybe tomorrow before I go to Ama.

I am working most steadily on this goal right now. It is a place to start and since everything and everyplace needs my attention I have to start somewhere. I almost have the mail tended to and now for unpacking…not only the stuff I just brought back from NY this trip but all the things I had sent home. It seemed like such a good idea at the time.Ooh how cute, or how great or it’s on sale and I would smartly have it shipped to Texas. Now I have to unpack all those boxes and find a place for everything.
