I’ve always had the idea of this ‘Amor vincit omnia’ tattoo I talked about in my last entry. But now I saw on my girlfriend’s ring a design that was so simple and beautiful that I just started to doubt in my previous determination in getting that mentioned sentence on my body. It had ‘LOVE’ written on it, but the ‘O’ was replaced with a peace sign. It is now haunting me. I can probably only choose one of those, ‘cause they are quite similar in meaning, so two would be too much. One is like an old truth, something you can relate to.. the fact that love conquers all. The other is a simple.. call for love.. And now I don’t know. They’re both starting to get corny now.

..is actually quite simple. I am a simple person and as much as I have thought about really rare and interesting symbols and designs, they haven’t really occurred or meant anything important to me. But for a long time there’s a sentence that has been on my mind and that’s something I want to believe in for the rest of my life and that is:
Amor vincit omnia (in Latin ‘love conquers all’). So that’s probably gonna be my first tattoo and also probably in gothic letters.
