i set my mind to achieving this goal this morning, and i did!
i ran/jogged for 35 minutes. i had to take 25-30 second breaks every 5 or 6 minutes though. but i’ve build up my endurance a substantial amount. next time, i will shoot for 30 second breaks every 7 or 8 minutes instead. i am very pleased regardless. :D

i think that i could actually accomplish this goal if i would set aside enough time while i’m at the gym to jog for more than 15 minutes. i have been doing spending 20 minutes on high resistance elliptical and 10 minutes on arm and leg weights… then jogging. i find that working the hell out of my legs before jogging makes me wanna jog for longer periods of time. so anyways… i guess i need to jog for longer.

still working on this. took vacation and didn’t do any exercise really for 7 days. i did run laps around the yard with my dogs.. but nothing worth saying was an exercise.
when i got back from vacation i started running again but i just havent been feeling it the last couple of days. i downloaded and compiled a new ipod playlist for jogging. hopefully this will boost my energy a bit.

i’m hoping to get this goal out of the way plus more by march or april 2010. bloomsday is coming up again and this time i wanna be there running with everyone else!

i bought new running shoes yesterday and my feet no longer hurt after only 10 minutes of jogging/running.
i was able to jog for around 15 minutes and then come back to the treadmill about 30 minutes later and do another 10 minutes with no problem. i love my new shoes! i have no excuse to not be able to get this goal achieved soon!

they have always said running on a treadmill is easier than on pavement. but i always ran on pavement.
so finally this morning at the gym i jogged/ran on the treadmill. and guess what? i can go for longer than 30 seconds (my average for pavement jogging). i can jog for 10 minutes now!
i’m so glad that i made myself do it on the treadmill. i never did it because i was always so embarrassed to run in front of others. but after dropping 50 pounds, i don’t feel quite as bad.
i think i will be able to achieve this goal in a matter of no time!

still where i was at last time with this goal.
but i am back to trying. and it’s helped me lose some additional weight in the process.
i downloaded an iphone app for jogging that’s helping me to reach my goal little by little.

i wrote an entry about this 15 months ago.
as you can see, i have not actively tried to accomplish this goal.
but i am back on the horse trying again.
i can jog only for about 90 seconds at a time, but little by little i will get there. i just have to keep believing in myself.

i am seriously lucky if i can jog for a minute and a half without walking.
    ....and that’s the slow jogging.
i am practicing more and more on my treadmill.
i will push myself to jog more and more each time…
hopefully next time i post on this goal, i will be up over a minute and a half!

I can do about twenty. Just, you know, as long as they aren’t in order.
