LouiseBeach Break Live

Probably the least known festival outside of UK student circles and the locals in Wales but, one of the best experiences I’d say for my first festival!
The annual festival (which is now 5 years old) is set in Pembrey Country Park, South Wales and is 4 days of the wildest, most bizarre fun ever to grace Wales (bar a good old night out in Bangor :p )
This year we saw amazing acts like Example, professor green, ed sheeran, we are scientists, beardyman, T.E.E.D, newton faulkner, nero and so much more!
Biggest essentials for BBL I’d say were:
- A group of your most hilarious friends (16 seemed to be our total)
- Either a good tent or some sort of child’s play tent that people can laugh at whilst wandering through the camp site (and a sleeping bag)
- As much booze as you can bring (unfortunately there is a limit for BBL but it’s useful to buy some pringles tubes for sneaky smuggling)
- Energy tablets
- Money for drinks, buying ridiculous animal hats and FAIRGROUND RIDES!!!
- TOILET ROLL & HAND SANITISER
- Warm clothes
- Wellies and LONG SOCKS, can’t stress this enough, take socks the will protect your legs at the top of your wellies if you’re going to wear shorts because welly rash is the most horrible thing to walk around with! trust :)
- Stamina
- Dance moves
- A sense of humour
- Your shouting voice (essential for singing along and shouting random words to people (ALAN! , BUTT SCRATCHER, STEVE! etc))
- Loads of stodge foods and biscuits to save from having to buy expensive food (although pie and mash is amazing)
- Sharpies
- Plastic cups/forks

Things I don’t reccomend bringing:
- Camping chairs (not a bad thing but drunk people love to steal them and you’ll end up walking past them not realising that it’s your chair that now says butt scratcher on it and has some random sitting in it.
- Flag (again not a bad thing as you can then see where you’ve set up camp but be warned, if you don’t put it high enough or make sure it’s secure enough or if it’s simply just way to awesome for people to handle it will befall the same fate as the chairs!) 6 months ago
