How I did it: Just find a diving center in my city, pay a bit, and thats it, u are diving, 8 lessons for PADI 1st step - open wather diver:) Its really something new - the underwater world

I want to learn how to dive and achieve at least an Advanced Open Water license/certification. Once i have obtained my diving license, i would love to dive at Layang-Layang and Sipadan Islands – both a few kilometers off North Borneo.

Last week.. I just called some diving schools around… so no I m starting with first steps in PADI system, Open water diver.. thats pretty easy.. 4 theoretical lessons and 4 diving lessons.. till now – very good! :)

I’m kicking myself that I didnt do this in Thailand… we thought it was a bit too expensive… well… expensive for Thailand… in other words we needed more drinking money! but now I’m in Australia, It’s so damn expensive!
My sister used to do it heaps, I was always so jealous! still am…

totally another worldly experience and I highly recommend it. I wish I were more proactive in seeking these adventures.
Failed my C test yesterday, but only need to take the unconscious rescue bit again so hopefully will pass next week. Dont think I was really ready for ti anyways.
Passed my B test on Monday, long way to go though still!
SSAC is miles better than PADI btw everyone! :P
