be less wasteful

So, in the cool change of my room that I’m working on right now, I put in new energy-saving lights! One small step for the environment…

I’m trying to recycle everthing I can, use a cloth bag for my lunches instead of buying paper bags and reuse all the plastic grocery bags I get from the store. I also walk to work to save on gas…what else can I do to waste less?

I was so amazed to find all the food in my freezer and cupboards that i’ve been ignoring for months (cans of beans, waffles, bags of veggies) . My partner and i decided to cook up all our stuff before we bought anything new- we’ve done so well we were able to skip a week of grocerty shopping (saving about $100). cool eh?
