my portabello mushroom craving has been vanquished, lol. And on whole wheat tortillas, yay healthyness.
The only thing I was not expecting was that they would be so watery, but I did use frozen pepper strips and mushrooms release water when heated, so whoops. You had to scoop out the fajita stuff with a seive, lol. still good, just kind of messy. 2 years ago

soon, my mom is cooking shrimp creole, so I’m thinking of holding off for a day or two so there’s not too much stuff taking up in the fridge.
however i have been craving portobello mushrooms so badly, and haven’t had tacos or whatnot in a while since i gave up fast food. plus, taking them to work would be an awesome thing to do since i’ve been relying on microwave hamburger helper (meh) and microwavable mac and cheese (blech) for a couple of days now for lunch. 2 years ago

Even though I mess up quite a bit, I’m just not used to cooking is all. I somehow managed to burn hard boiled eggs. Not sure how I did that. I can never remember how long to cook them for so I sometimes tend to cook them until they crack. sheepish grin
Making my own mango salsa in a couple of days to go with the raspberry vinagrette marinated chicken tenders I’m baking. Yay and yummy, served alongside my new love couscous. Mmmm. 2 years ago

i have no clue. I put a little bit of oil in a pan and then some tofu, peppers and onions and added soy sauce, salt, pepper and garlic powder. served over curry couscous.
everyone called it a stirfry so i guess that’s what it was. i don’t know, i just know it was good….and smelled so nice it enticed my younger brother to try a piece of tofu. he didn’t hate it or spit it out, or make a bad face. but he considered it! i am awesome. 2 years ago

The next thing I want to try and tackle is a recipe I have for zucchini lasagna. I think I’ll tell my siblings what’s in it after they try it, they’re so picky! 2 years ago

Oh yeah, cute, white chick cooking up some nummy mexican stuffs. Apparently taco sauce and picante sauce are completely different things…so the enchiladas taste a little off. I’ll get it right next time.
Albondiga meatballs are a liiiiitle too much flavor because apparently some of the spices go into the actual soup, not all of them into the meatballs. Whoops. Oh well, everyone makes mistakes the first time around.
Still it’s awesome and great to eat something you made yourself, especially when it tastes so good and when you can alter it to be more healthy. Might not always look good, but the taste begs to differ. 2 years ago
